On Saturday, May 3rd, Julia and Ryan were in the Pioneer Day Parade. Julia’s band played “Men of Ohio” and “Wipeout.” They sounded great! The high school band director also directs the junior high band, so he was busy marching one band through the parade and then running back to join the other. Julia’s band Here’s Ryan in the black and gold. It was really fun for both kids to be in the same parade with the same director. Just for fun they showed up wearing each other’s uniform just to confuse him. All they had to do was switch the top halves of their uniforms to be in the right outfit.
